He was predeceased by: his parents, Silas (Mearl Mardis Jones) and Eddy; his children, Misty Shae Jones and Billy Jack Jones; and his sisters, Gena Jones Owens and Wendy Jones Letson.

He is survived by: his son James Bo Jones; and his siblings, Penny Davis (Ronald), Roger Jones (Bonita), Bruce Jones (Linda) and Kent Jones. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a favorite charity or veteran support group in memory of Eddy.
