She was predeceased by : her father Albert Marion Norris; her husband Brice May; her children, Ricky May and Theresa McVay; her siblings, Pete Norris, G. T. Norris, Maxwell Norris, Homer Norris, Minnie May and Alene Burman; and her grandson Hunter May.

She is survived by : her son Joey Lee May (Stephanie); her sisters, Louise Jones and Carolyn Ortega; her grandchildren, Cory McVay (April) and Kayla Nichols (Will); and her great grandchildren, Kendall McVay and Raylee McVay.
