He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Clear Chaney and Frances Joyce Harris Chaney; and his siblings, Jimmy Chaney, Suzanne Chaney and Mary Asherbranner (Jimmy).
He is survived by: his wife Jalena Chaney (McLemore); his children, Jacob Chaney (Laura) and Stephanie Patterson (Adam); his sisters, Janie Waldrop and Nancy Sartin (Brian); and his grandchildren, Addison Chaney, Jodie Chaney, Sawyer Chaney, Ginny Patterson and Jesse Patterson. He is also survived by nephews, nieces.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the Bald Knob Cemetery (292 Co Rd 333, Moulton, AL 35650).
