It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hershel Leon Nolen of Moulton, Alabama, who passed away on June 27, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Bonnie Calvin Nolen and Ora Mae McCluskey Nolen; and his siblings, Hoyt Nolen (Sylvia), Velma Drane (Densil) and Estelle Naylor.

He is survived by : his wife Vera Beatrice Morgan Nolen (Sapp); his children, Rhonda Parker (Melvin) and Gwyn Morgan (Tammy); his siblings, Charles Nolen (Ginger), Johnny Nolen, Glenda Simmons and Sherry Jones; and his grandchildren, Amber James (Terry), Ashley Nix (Scott), Amy Speegle (Jace), Amanda Daniel (Scott) and Abby Pace (Lance). He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
