He was predeceased by: his parents, James Alton Way and Docia Geneva McDonald Way; his stepmother Betty Jo Way; and his brothers, Dalton Wayne Way, Michael Dale Logan and Mickey Darryl Logan.
He is survived by: his daughter Elizabeth Ann Way; his siblings, Billy Ray McDonald, Alton Eugene "Gene" Way (Darren K. Garrison), Betty Genise Way and Kelli Jo Logan Bowling (DeShannon); and his grandchildren, Jordan Nate Stevenson, Aubrey Shyann Way and Lonnie Trenton Stevenson.
A reception was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Parkway Funeral Home (23599 AL-24, Trinity, AL 35673).
