It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lucy Herring of Moulton, Alabama, who passed away on August 12, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dyke Smith and Ada Oden Smith; her husband Norris Herring; her daughter Glenda Slayton; her granddaughter Brandy Phillips; and her siblings, Willard Smith, Huey Smith, Eva Smith, Mable Jackson and Eula Osborn.
She is survived by: her son Edward Herring (Helen); her grandchildren, Misty Stricklin (Brian), Jessica Herring, Hazel Herring and Brooks Slayton (Laura); her great grandchildren, Britley Orr, Julieanna Taylor and Griffin Slayton; and her brother Windell England (Malisia). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
