He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Harris and Orian Strickland Harris of Phillip; his son Mark Harris; and his siblings, Junior Emerson, Warner Emerson and Hazel Ballard.
He is survived by: his wife Loretta Harris; his daughters, Autumn Cornett (Jonathan), Michelle Harris and Annita Rothenberger (Roy); his grandchildren, Nicholas Eggers, Zach Rothenberger and Katie O'Brien (Garrett); and his great grandchildren, Liam O'Brien and Eli O'Brien. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
A Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Resurrection Catholic Chapel (16335 Court St, Moulton, AL 35650). A burial will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 3:30 PM at the Fergason Cemetery (3439 Co Rd 45, Town Creek, AL 35672).
