He was predeceased by: his parents, Buron Barnes and Annette Lewter Barnes; and his siblings, Wayne Barnes and Martha Autrey. He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his nieces and nephews, Dusty Lanier and Nikki Dutton (Josh); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Ava Lanier, Natalie Speegle, Charlee Lanier and Porter Dutton; and his siblings, Jean Chandler, Ann Cross, Susie Moore, Connie Royster, Linda Blankenship and Dob Barnes (Joy). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or Moulton Baptist Church.
