He was predeceased by: his parents, Dee Mayes and Dorothy Hardin Mayes; and his sisters, Marsha Tidwell (Dillard) and Pam Simms (Jimmie). He is survived by: his sisters, Janet Letson (Archie) and Ramona Simoneaux; and his pet Bella. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
