He is survived by: his daughter Karla Lynn Smith of Moulton, AL; his aunt Ethel Mae Gipson of Huntsville, AL; and his siblings, Barbara Barnes of Moulton, AL, Otis Barnes of Moulton, AL, Jackie Barnes (Tina) of Huntsville, AL, Larry Barnes of Decatur, AL, John Barnes (Tina) of Omaha, NB and James Barnes (Olivia) of Huntsville, AL. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
