He was predeceased by: his parents, Delmer F Smith and Icey Evelyn Bumgart Smith; his wife Letha Hodge Smith; his siblings, Arley Smith and Bobbie Decatur; and his granddaughter Taylan Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Paula Shelton, Eric Smith and Jamie Smith; and his sister Linda Gail Rutherford. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.
