She was predeceased by: her parents, Gary Sims and Gladys Sims; her daughter Paula Lee Matherson; and her close friend Therman Tingle. She is survived by: her son Zach Matherson; her granddaughter Adrian Mulling (Tyler); her daughter-in-law Allison Barker; and her siblings, Betty Seale (David) and Langford Sims (Jackie). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Havana United Methodist Church (715 Co Rd 37, Moundville, AL 35474).
