He is survived by: his mother Vona Elkins; his wife Jeanne Compton Elkins; his children, Chad Elkins (Paige), Chase Elkins (Emily) and Cortney Long (Preston); his grandchildren, Collin Elkins (Chelsey), Chloe Elkins, Aubrey Elkins, Cooper Elkins, Charlie Beth Long, Andy Cate Long and Dani Jane Long; and his sisters, Beth Stockton (Lynn) and Penny Fields (Stan). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Rock Springs Cemetery Fund.
