She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Huston; her parents, John Mears (Myrtle White Mears) and Myrtle Mears; her sister Annie Mears; and her nephew Donald "Chigger" Mears.

She is survived by: her children, Chris Douglas (Samantha), Stacy Douglas and Tonya Hill (William); and her grandchildren, Kayla Hill, Kimberly Hill, Jason Douglas, Elizabeth Douglas, Kaylee Harrell, Ryan Harrell and Jacob Harrell. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made directly to the funeral home for the expenses of Betty's Service.
