He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Paul Sutton and Beatrice Holland Sutton; his wife Donnie Bruton Sutton; his children, Joel Sutton (Kristie), Shannon Sutton (Karen) and Angie Reeves (Marty); his grandchildren, Leslie Behring (Mike), Cassidy Sutton (Jamie), Katy Earnest (Aaron), Amber Sutton, Jordan Jones (Daniel), Anna Garrison (Trevor) and Sarah Sparks (Dalton); his great grandchildren, Chloe Smith, Paisley Sutton, Delaney Sutton, Audrey Sutton, Abel Behring, Ezra Behring, Trace Garrison, Jackson Garrison, Zayde Roberson, Brazlee Gatlin, Addie Hollis, Sutton Jones, Isaac Jones and Samson Jones; his siblings, Paulette Ramsey (James), Karen Mullins, Raymon Sutton (Arlene) and Truman Sutton (Fredia); his sons, Lamar Sutton and Brad Sutton; his granddaughter Marlee Sutton; his sister Vernell Bradford Parker; and his brother-in-law Jerry Mullins.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lawrence Funeral Home (12950 AL-157, Moulton, AL 35650). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM and from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Gideons International or St. Jude Children's Hospital. Consider a donation, as requested by the family.
