It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Floyd Phillips of Mount Olive, Alabama, who passed away on August 3, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Steve Phillips and Ruby Phillips; his son Keith Phillips; and his brother Dale Phillips. He is survived by: his wife Patricia L. Phillips; his children, Roger Phillips (Tina), Kelly McAuley (Mark), Jimmy Powell and Angel Tumlin (Heath); his grandchildren, Brandon Phillips (Macalia), Austin McAuley (Brianna), Brittany Phillips (Shelby), Derek Shelby (Lauren), Bailey Burgett, Dalton Bates, Nick Bates, Lakelee Boehm (Jordan), Emma Tumlin and Brianna Ross; his great grandchildren, Norah McAuley, Colsey Boehm, Miley Beth Boehm and Nylia Tumlin; and his sisters, Delores Nail and Peggy Phillips. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Ridout's Gardendale Chapel (2029 Decatur Hwy, Gardendale, AL 35071). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
