He was predeceased by: his wife Verdis; his parents, Earlie Edward and Lillie Belle Ellis; and his brother Charles Ellis. He is survived by: his daughters, Frances Ellis-Myrex (Ronnie) and Reba Wood (Bobby); his grandchildren, Scott Wood (Jessica), Leah Perry, Allen Wood (Summer) and Rancey Perry (Jennifer); and his sister Bertha Johnston. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
