She was predeceased by: her mother Maude Odum Coalburn; her sons, Richard Lee Box and David Frank Box; her father William Augustus Coalburn; and her brother Buddy Coalburn.
She is survived by: her husband Gary Morton; her daughter Dee Dee Box-Edwards; her children-in-law, Randy Edwards and Lisa Box Cunningham (Herman); her granddaughter Ivey Box Phillips; and her grandson-in-law Trae.
Laura was very giving and often thought of others before herself, she saw that a local high school gym was in need of a fan and she was able to gift it to them, she also donated an organ to a local church in need, as well as many other gifts to others.
