He is survived by: his wife Patricia L. Carder; his children, Robert J. Carder, Mark D. Carder, Douglas J. Carder (Ginny), Cynthia A. Carder and Jean E. Vaughn (Mike); and his grandchildren, David, Ellen, Oliver, Amy, Sam, Lydia, Daniel, Troy, Fallon, Franklin, Abby, Mason, Lucy and Geneva. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
