She was predeceased by : her husband Ira D. Register. She is survived by : her children, Rebel Negley (Michael) and Thomas Register; her grandchildren, Sunni A. Bell, Brandon Henley (Maggie), Max Register and Molli Register (Heathe Watkins); her great grandchildren, Jodi Parrish and Amos Parrish; her siblings, Corean Edwards and Ferrell Howard (Pat); and her sister-in-law Ruth Davis (Bubba).

Visitation was held on Monday, May 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ridout's Valley Chapel (1800 Oxmoor Rd, Homewood, AL 35209). A funeral service was held on Monday, May 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
