He was predeceased by : his parents, Ollie Todd and Bessie Todd; his wife Lovella F. Todd; his children, Donald Todd and Sandra Gable; and his siblings, James Melvin Todd, Willie P. Todd, Charles Ray Todd and Jeanette T. Buckle.

He is survived by : his children, Robert Melvin Todd and Melissa Todd Mills (Mark); his grandchildren, Christopher Todd, Gary Wayne Gable and Cynthia Gable; and his great grandchildren, Joshua Brizuela, Zachary Gable, Bradley Gable, Skylar Gable, Grayson Mills, Layne and Evelyn Gable. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Patterson-Forest Grove Funeral Home (1498 5th Ave, Pleasant Grove, AL 35127). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
