With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jerry Wayne Daugherty of Munford, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 27, 2025 at the age of 69. Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Jerry Wayne leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Rowe Daugherty; his children, Jamie Denise Daugherty and Candice Williamson (Chad); his grandchildren, Kendall Clark (Kane), Brock Willis (Madi), Cooper Williamson and Miller Williamson; his great grandchild Livia Rose Clark; and his brothers, Richard Daugherty and Ron Daugherty.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gassett Funeral Home (204 E Charles Ave, Wetumpka, AL 36092). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Santuck Baptist Church (7250 Central Plank Rd, Wetumpka, AL 36092).
