He was predeceased by: his wife Ida Mae Michael; his daughter Toni Letsinger; his parents, George Michael and Sarah Michael; and his siblings, Hollis, Otis, Buford, Dee, Bert, Marvin, Alton, Wayne, Melvin, Douglas and Earline Michael Sarchet.
He is survived by: his children, Dale Michael (Darlene) and Peggy Cook (Kenneth); his grandchildren, Ronnie, Phillip Michael, Trisha Wright, Michael, Jonathan Cook, Benji and Bryant Letsinger; and his son-in-law Phillip Letsinger. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
