It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David Lamar Hallmark of Muscle Shoals, Alabama, who passed away on April 16, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, D. L. "Doc" Hallmark and Era Belle Hallmark; and his siblings, Eloise "Butch" Files (Cliff), Horace Hallmark, Betty Jo Marler (Herbie), Jerri Ruth Patterson (Pat) and George Clifton Hallmark.

He is survived by : his wife Peggy; his sons, David Hallmark, Wade Defoor (Cherrylyn) and Heath Defoor (Shae); his grandchildren, Savannah, Brelynn Hallmark, Sydney and Landon Defoor; and his brother Richard Hallmark (Gloria). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Colbert Memorial Chapel (700 US-43, Tuscumbia, AL 35674). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Colbert Memorial Chapel, Colbert Memorial Gardens Email (700 US-43, Tuscumbia, AL 35674).
