It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katheryn H. Copher of Muscle Shoals, Alabama, born in Pikeville, Kentucky, who passed away on December 16, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Ray Copher; her parents, Ralph Hawkins and Trilby Hawkins; and her brothers, G. D., James, Denver, Doug and Gobel Hawkins.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Copher (Sherry), Carolyn Lawson (Lynn) and Lisa Nesmith (Wesley); her siblings, Grady Hawkins (Ann), Clayton Hawkins (Glenna), Marleen Wills (Charles), Loreba Lawrence, Rita Aday (Kenneth), Alma Wells (Kenneth), Myrtle Young and Sheila Nichols (Jeff); and her grandchildren, Kevin Goins, Melanie Goins, Brent Goins and Brooke Patterson. She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or the American Red Cross.
