She was predeceased by: her parents, Felix Montesino, (Isabel Lopez) and Vicente Montesino, Sr.; her siblings, Vicente Montesino, Jr. and Mayda Montesino; and her great grandchild Iyla Bearden.
She is survived by: her children, John Peralta (Maria) of Orlando, Luisa Oswalt (Tommy) of Muscle Shoals and Felix Peralta (Elena) of Music Shoals; her sister Daisy; and her niece Tuddy. She is also survived by other daughter to her; a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 23rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Morrison Funeral Home - Tuscumbia (825 N Main St, Tuscumbia, AL 35674). A rosary was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Our Lady of the Shoals Catholic Church (200 E Commons St N, Tuscumbia, AL 35674). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers you can have a Catholic mass dedicated in her honor.
