He was predeceased by: his mother Virglyn Evans; his daughter Amy Beth Evans Wampler; his siblings, Charles Evans, James Evans, Wilma Oswalt, Jewel Patterson and Doug Evans; and his in-laws, Bobby and Diane Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Brown Evans; his sons, Andy Evans (Jamie) and Adam Evans (Kendra); his siblings, Wayne Evans, Thomas Evans, David Evans, Judy Patterson, Susan Bevis and Myrle Dewberry; his grandchildren, Ashlyn Blackmon, Evan Byrd, Ava Evans, Kinley Wampler, Jacob Evans, Jonas Evans, Swayze Evans and Ledger Evans; and his great grandchildren, Sammy Blackmon and Lucas Blackmon.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the East Colbert Church of Christ (5075 River Rd, Muscle Shoals, AL 35661). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
