With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruby Pearl Parrish of Muscle Shoals, Alabama, who passed away on August 1, 2022 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Jefferies and Elizabeth Jefferies; her husband Bill Parrish; her siblings, Hosea, Clois, Clarence, Lester, James Jefferies, Jeanette Tingle Horton, Trudy McCrory, Ruth Bradford, Martha Wilson Terrell, Doris Rutherford and Lucille Allen; her grandson Larry Gargis; and her son-in-law Raymond DeVaney.
She is survived by: her children, Roger Gargis (Janice), Ricky Gargis (Jane), John Gargis (Anita) and Barbara DeVaney; her stepchildren, Shelaine Albert (Joe), Stephanie Britnell (Gene) and Matt Parrish (Samantha); and her grandchildren, Chris DeVaney, Stacie Burden, Morgan Gargis, Shaw Gargis (Amy), Josh Gargis (Brandy), Brad Hulsey (Angela) and Corey Gargis (Ashley). She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
