She was predeceased by: her husband Bobby Joe Thornton; her parents, Cecil Maclin and Juanita Maclin; and her brother Terry Maclin. She is survived by: her daughters, Cynthia "Cindy" Wood of Chattanooga, TN, Robin Collins (Phil) of Phoenix, AZ and Angela Crowe (Wade) of Mendham, NJ.; and her grandchildren, Cecilia Thornton Crowe and William "Liam" Howard Crowe.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Colbert Memorial Gardens (700 US-43, Tuscumbia, AL 35674).
