He is survived by: his wife Mavis Morris Burney; his children, Vince Burney (Deanna) and Teresa Burney; his grandchildren, Joseph "Red" Burney, Becky Lathan (Micheal), Drew Green (Tori), Justin Green and Abbie Green (Ashley); and his great grandchildren, Weston Burney, Graydon Fike, Wesley Green, Gabby Fike, Karsyn Burney, Jessa Latham, Kohn Green, Ellie Green, Addie Green and Hayden Green. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Viewing was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Lawrence Funeral Home (12950 AL-157, Moulton, AL 35650). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM and from 2:15 PM to 2:45 PM.
