Though Gardner may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jesse "Bo" Gardner; her parents, Eldridge Lemiel Fikes and Velma Elizabeth Clements Fikes; and her son Jesse David Gardner. She is survived by: her daughter Peggy Gardner Scott (Richard); and her daughter-in-law Gail Gardner. She is also survived by five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Myrtlewood Baptist Church (402 N Magnolia St, Sweet Water, AL 36763). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
