We are sad to announce that, on January 19, 2026, at the age of 88, Huey Wakefield of Nauvoo, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Avice Wakefield and Curtis Wakefield; and his siblings, Carolyn Shubert, Amelia Elkins, Larry Wakefield of Ralph Wakefield, B. C and John Wakefield.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Wakefield; his daughters, Janet Downes (Tom) and Sandra Wakefield; and his siblings, Melinda McGinnis, Ray Wakefield and Donald Wakefield. He is also survived by 3 Grandchildren; 4 Great Grandchildren.
