He was predeceased by: his brothers, Cecil Mote, Tommy Mote, Jack Mote, Curtis Mote, Harold Mote and Larry Mote.
He is survived by: his wife Shelby Jean Mote; his sons, Dennis Mitchell Mote and Darrell Mote; and his siblings, Dorthy Uptain, Polly Stewart and James Mote. He is also survived by 6 Grandchildren; 3 Great Grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the New Oak Grove Freewill Baptist Church (530 New Oak Grove Rd, Nauvoo, AL 35578). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
