He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Austin Turner and Lyda Jimerson Turner; his wife Katie Mae Wallace Turner; and his brother Eugene Turner. He is survived by: his daughters, Kathy Adams (Frank) and Jackie Carpenter (Todd); his sister Margaret Taylor; his grandchildren, Eddie Adams (Heather), Beth Adams, Matthew Long and Jenny Miller (Lane); his great grandchildren, Dayton Lewis, McClay Carson (Jake), Dawson Hand, Caanon Long, Camilla Lane Miller and Charles Wallace Miller; and his great great grandchildren, Lucy Kate Carson and Mack Carson.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bumpers Funeral Home (302 Vanity Fair Ave, Butler, AL 36904). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Chapel of Bumpers Funeral Home (302 Vanity Fair Ave, Butler, AL 36904).
