It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Keith Byrd Jr. of Needham, Alabama, who passed away on May 29, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Keith Byrd and Lutie Byrd. He is survived by: his daughters, Deborah Boswell (Steve) and Beverly Mize (Ron); his grandchildren, Steve Boswell, III (Erin), Will Boswell (Caroline), Zac Boswell (Annie), Curt Mize (Jennifer) and Keith Mize; and his sister Betty Byrd Poole. He is also survived by his 4 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens (2701 John Hawkins Pkwy, Hoover, AL 35244). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Alzheimer's Association, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Healthwell Foundation, or the charity of your choice.
