She was predeceased by: her parents, John Bowman and Lonnie Bowman; and her daughter Kaye Ann Adaway. She is survived by: her siblings, Eugene Bowman (Diane), Franklin Bowman (Sue), Nancy Gibson and Brenda Monitan; her daughter Kathy Simmons (Joe); her grandchildren, Jason Downing (Savanna), Mitch Downing (Randi), Norman Adaway III (Madalyn), Doni Adaway Lokey (Wayne), Jerod Simmons (Ashley) and Jana Graves; and her nephew Myron Fillingim (Robi).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory (4550 Boll Weevil Cir, Enterprise, AL 36330). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
