She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Clark and Mattie Lee Maddox; her husband Britt Lee; her siblings, Loudell Bragg, Albert, Danny and Frank Maddox; and her grandson Maxwell Freedom Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Brooke Wilson of New Brockton and Walt Jones (Devri) of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She is also survived by two grandchildren.
