We bid farewell to John Pittman of New Brockton, Alabama, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 16, 2025 at the age of 86. John touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walker Lee and Cleone Stephens Pittman; his wife Bobbie Smith Pittman; his son John Pittman; his siblings, Doug Pittman and Dennie Pittman Walden (Kenneth); and his niece Wendy Walden Averett.
He is survived by: his children, Suzy Luchner (Tom) of New Brockton and Jamie Pittman (Rika) of Hoover, Alabama; his sister-in-law Julianna Pittman of Enterprise, Alabama; his grandchildren, Victoria Rommel (Michael) of Ft. Walton Beach, Zachary Pittman (Jessie) of Huntsville and Emma Pittman of Hoover, Alabama; and his great grandchildren, John Robert Rommel and Palmer Ann Rommel.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory (4550 Boll Weevil Cir, Enterprise, AL 36330). A memorial service was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
