We announce the death of Ann L. Stephens of New Hope, Alabama, who passed away on August 10, 2026, at the age of 86. She was predeceased by: her husband John C. Stephens; her parents, Bennett Lackey and Mary Lackey; and her siblings, Pearl Watts, Irene Lackey, James Edward Lackey (Bo), Thomas Lackey of Fred Lackey, J. C and Leroy Lackey.
She is survived by: her son John David Stephens (Karen); her sister Polly Phillips; her grandchildren, Brandon Stephens, Danielle Wilton (Zach) and Mary Etta Spencer (Devin); and her great grandchild Jude Mathis. She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
