He was predeceased by: his mother Ethel Meeks. He is survived by: his son Larry Wayne Jr. (Renee); his wife Shirley Ann Meeks; his children, Gregory Meeks (Kristin Walker) and Juanita Cloud; his siblings, Jerry Meeks (Jo Ann), Roberta Vann (Billy), Rebecca Warinsky (Dave) and Donna Meeks Greiger; his grandchildren, Loren Jones (Michael), Broadway, Chelsea Meeks (Erika), Krystin Meeks (Geoff Stewart), Nathaniel Meeks (Kaylah) and Major Walker; his great grandchildren, Adalaya, Micah, Hendrix Jones, Cooper Broadway, Emma, Bennett Meeks, Ashton Stewart and Blakely Meeks; and his close friends, Virginia "Tookie" Day, Karen Cooper and Nancy Harris. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
