It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dan Monroe Long of New Market, Alabama, who passed away on May 26, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Monroe Lee and Jenny Mae Long. He is survived by : his siblings, Edward Lee Long, Larry Paul Long and Virginia Mae Oliver; his wife Vicki Long; his children, Danny Long and Melissa King; his grandchildren, Matthew Long, Bree Welch, Amanda Childers, Caitlin King and Michelle King; his great grandchildren, Blakely, Rhiley, Hadley and Atticus; and his sister Joyce White. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
