He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Marvin and Geneva Vandiver Davis; and his brother George Robert Davis. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Jo; his sons, Monte Jr. (Cindy), Greg (Becky) and Jim; his sister-in-law Charlotte Davis; his grandchildren, Corbin, Andrew (Kayla), Kaylee Davis (Adam), Kyle, Colton, Lauren, Logan, Ryan, Patrick Anderson (Kaci) and Heather James; and his great grandchildren, Callie, Brody, Will Davis, Morgan Anderson and Jackson James.
