He was predeceased by: his parents, Jay Coffman and Ruby Foster; his wife Aileen Coffman; and his daughter Nancy JoAnn Coffman. He is survived by: his children, Virginia Childress (Robert) and Timothy Coffman (Sabrina); and his siblings, Junior Foster, Bobby Foster (Jean), Hal Foster, Barbara Cline (Marvin) and Shirley McQuay. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-granchildren, great-great-granchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Hazel Green Funeral Home (13921 US-231, Hazel Green, AL 35750). A burial was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Valhalla Memory Gardens (700 Winchester Rd NE, Huntsville, AL 35811).
