He was predeceased by: his brothers, Robert "Peewee" Buchanan, Anthony Buchanan and George Buchanan. He is survived by: his wife Tina Lee Buchanan; his mother Betty Jo Buchanan; and his siblings, Larry Joe Buchanan and Lisa Byars. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hazel Green Funeral Home (13921 US-231, Hazel Green, AL 35750). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at the Cochran Cemetery (135 Cemetery Rd, New Market, AL 35761).
