She was predeceased by: her siblings, Fred Atwater III and Frances Starks. She is survived by: her mother Toni Atwater; her husband Curtis Ray Denkler of Newell, AL; her children, Diana Posey (Michael Posey) of Ider, AL, Monique Carden (Jeremy Coppock) of Newell, AL, Dustin Denkler (Melissa Denkler) of Weaver, AL and Kyle Denkler (Crystal Denkler) of Franklin, GA.; her father Harold F Atwater Sr. of Newell, AL; and her brother Harold F Atwater (JR) of Newell, AL. She is also survived by grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Union Baptist Church.
