He was predeceased by: his wife Rheunell McCord Lee; his mother Norma Lee Smith; and his siblings, Robert Lee, Alfred Lee, Ted Lee and Ruth Anderson.
He is survived by: his children, Dennis Lee, Jr. (Francie), David Lee (Lynn) and Dawn Lee Parks; his sister Edith Howard; his sister-in-law Joyce McCord; his grandchildren, Trae Lee (Alex), Bryant Lee (Kristina), Kayla Capra (Kevin), Richard Parks (Cheryl), Aaron Parks (Erika), Timothy Parks (Ceara), Dustin Lee (Danielle), Drew Lee (Lindsey) and Cody Lee (Madison); Ashton Parks, Brailynn Parks, Connor Parks, Elan Parks, Annalise Parks, Ryker Parks, Kenadee Morrow, Makynlee White, Reid Lee, Owen Lee, Blake Lee, Kate Lee, Brady Lee, Byrdie Lee, Andrew Lee and Annie Lee. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
