He was predeceased by : his parent Johnnie Smith (Bernice); and his sibling Johnnie Fredrick Smith. He is survived by : his nephews, Mario Casey, Cornelius Drinkard, Marquise Smith and Artonio Arnez Smith; his wife Betty Jean Smith; his son Johnnie Smith; his grandson Rakeem Smith; his great grandchild Sevyn Smith; and his siblings, Nina Casey (Frazier), Anetha Drinkard (Marshall), Connie Smith, Susan Jones (Douglas), Apostle Harry L. Smith, Leedon Smith (Jennifer) and Marshall. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, family and friends.
