We are sad to announce that, on December 13, 2023, at the age of 94, Audrey Poe of Northport, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Tulley Smalley and Earline Smalley; her husband Johnny Poe; and her siblings, Hawthorne Smalley, Huey Charles Smalley and Elizabeth Pate.

She is survived by: her children, Deborah Riley (Rod), Kathy Hollingshead (Chuck), Mark Poe (Beth) and Sherrill Smalley (Martha); her niece Jennifer Smelser; her sister-in-law Mary Jo Looser; her grandsons, Josh Hollingshead (Rachel) and Lance Poe (Deanna); her great grandchildren, Riley and Reece Hollingshead; and her grandchildren, Allie Kate, Cason and Cooper Poe. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Five Points Baptist Church.

Audrey was a dear friend of mine. when i came home at night she used to sit on her porch within her beautiful flowers. she loved birds and flowers as much as i do. she was a beautiful human being. always dressed up and had her hair and make up done to perfection. she knows the lord and she is in heaven looking down on us. she has made the journey we all still have to make. rest in peace my beautiful friend, until we meet again .Gerda”
