He was predeceased by: his former wife Nell; his parents, Ola Henry and Pearl Brewer; and his siblings, Faye Hollingsworth, John and J. H. Brewer.
He is survived by: his wife Betty; his children, Larry Brewer (April) and Anita McClure (Dean); his grandchildren, Adam Brewer (Lindsay), Kristi Cochran (Charles), Marc Brewer (Kelsi), Heath Bagi (Blair), Taylor Bagi (Brittany), Ashley Maddox (Justin), Justin Tu (Margaret), Caitlyn Hudson (Chase), Austin McClure and Tyler McClure; and his sister Jean Leonard. He is also survived by his 13 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Legion located at 3419 Universal Heights Road, Tuscaloosa, AL 35404.
