He was predeceased by: his parents, George Alfred Ray and Edna Long Ray (Shirley James Ray). He is survived by: his daughters, Connie Ray Stokes (John) and Kimberly Ray Satcher (Mark); his siblings, Mary Ellen Guin (Morris) and James Alex Ray (Ruby); his grandchildren, Zachary Stokes (Brook), Mary Margaret Stokes Faust (Bobby), Harold Stokes, Gill Satcher and Meredith Satcher; his great grandchildren, Clark Stokes, Ford Stokes and Amelia Faust; his wife Shirley; Michelle McDaniel. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
